All local dial in customers receive free
storage for their web pages, up to 10 megs of
storage space for your business or personal web
pages. You can either design your own page, or
have us design one for you. If you design your
own page and are ready to publish it on the WWW,
please fill out this form
so that we will know to set up your directory
access for you. There are two ways this can be
done, either by using an ftp client (such as Ws-FTP
or CuteFTP) or by using an http client such as
Front Page or Netscape Composer. For more information,
please follow the links at the left for Hosting
FAQ or Uploading your site. PLEASE REMEMBER that
your Homepage MUST be named index.htm or index.html.
Web Page Counters, Clocks and Guest Books
Available!
You can have your very own Web Page Counter, Clock
and Guest Book available FREE from Family Entertainment
Network. This service is available to Dial
In Customers and Domain Hosting Customers
ONLY, and can be obtained for your personal
or business web pages. Please check out the different
designs available on our Counter
Designs Page to pick out the design you would
like. We can also make a set of digits especially
for you for a small charge. Then download the
following HTML coding and paste it into your web
page where you would like your counter to appear
(follow the instructions for style and library
selection included in the HTML)

can be obtained in the same way, and you can

Styles page. For those of you who would
like to do more customizing on your clock, I
have put the Instructions
in a text file for you - however, this is use

support on these aspects of the clock (so please
don't call or write me and ask!)
A Guestbook
example is shown here and can be customized as
to "How you found us?", and can also be customized
as to background and graphics. Guestbooks can
also be obtained by going to the following files:

Once you are at the page, select: File: Save
As and save the files to your hard drive. Follow
the embedded instructions included in the HTML
coding, and then upload your pages to your own
file library (saving them as HTML, not text, of
course), and your guestbook will be operational!

Using Forms on Your Pages
Now we offer a simple solution for your forms!
All of the coding is done right in the form -
there are no outside scripts for you to configure.
Just follow the simple instructions and your form
will be e-mailed to you. The instructions for
inserting the necessary form fields can be found
here.
How to Build Your Own Web Page
These pages are designed to help our members learn
how to build their own home pages. We hope that
they are useful and informative. Included in these
pages are graphics files that are available directly
on our system. In order for you to get the most
out of the pages, we have catagorized them as
follows:

Page A simple tutorial and page that you
can download as a reference, of just type your
own text into. Also has some links to OTHER
web tutorials.
- The RGB Hex Triplet
Color Chart lists all coding for the different
colors of background and text available for
use.
- Or try this nifty little application
that will show you full screen what the color
you choose looks like and return the Hex code
for it so that you can use it in your page!

How to Get Your Page On the
WWW
First, you need to upload your page to your own
directory. If you don't already have a directory,
please fill out this form
and we will be happy to set one up for you. Then
you will need to ftp (upload) your files onto
our Web Page server. Once this is done, all the
whole world will have access to your page. For
more information on how to upload your pages,
please follow the link to the left on "Uploading
Pages"
Tell Everyone About Your Pages
You've done it - you've gone and written your
very own web page! Now how do you let people know
about it? Tell all your friends and family, of
course, but the best way to get people looking
at your pages is to submit it to the Search Engines!
