Ted Watts

Ted Watts of Oswego, Kansas celebrates the 30th Anniversary of his art studio business in 2002.

He has completed over 5,000 pieces of finished art over the past three decades--most of it devoted to sports themes. His client list includes over 150 collegiate clients, the US Olympic Committee and the NCAA. Watts' art hangs in all the major sports Halls of Fame.

A 1966 Pittsburg State University (KS) graduate, Watts is most famed nationally for his 67 portraits series of Heisman Trophy Winners that are displayed in the College Football Hall of Fame in South Bend, IN; a 33' x 9'6" Oklahoma Sooners Football mural on the OU campus in Norman; and a 157 portraits series for the University of Kansas Athletic Hall of Fame in Allen Field House on the KU campus in Lawrence.
