Jane
Kleindl
Jane
has been working in the art field for three decades. She graduated with
distinction from Iowa State University, College of Design, receiving
her B.F.A. degree with an emphasis in graphic design. Recognized by
her peers, she received several Addy design awards when she has her
own graphic design business. As an instructor in early childhood education
she has developed and presented several programs that focus on stimulation
creativity. She has worked both professionally and philanthropically
with numerous individuals, businesses, and organizations throughout
her career, contributing primarily within and around the Four-State
corners and Joplin community since 1987.
Although
experienced in all media, Jane's fine art emphasis is two-dimensional.
The subject matter is primarily traditional genre and all manner of
portraiture from casual to corporate. Her passion for traveling and
learning often factor into her creations. Jane is a competitive award
winner who exhibits regularly in solo and group shows. Her work is owned
in personal collections throughout the U.S. and displayed in corporate
collections regionally.
Jane
is married to Dr. Brad Kleindl, Associate Professor of Marketing and
Assistant Dean of the Business School at Missouri Southern State College.
He also maintains his artistic side as an author and potter.
As
a mother of four, ranging in ages from 11 years to 28, Jane's main interests
have been devoted toward her family, a lifetime of learning and teaching,
volunteerism, traveling, painting, reading, gardening and home renovation.
