My pets... I'm pretty proud of this crew!

This is my cat, Shadow. He's probably my favorite out of all my animals. I adopted him when I was 8 years old. He (and the rest of my animals for that matter) were strays that all wandered up to my house. I found him sitting on the front porch and fell in love with him. The sad part is, I think he likes my mom better than he does me! He's really smart, and he thinks he's a dog. Shadow will play fetch.. It's really funny!

Isn't this just the ugliest dog you've ever seen? This is Snoopy. She's a mixture of Catahoula and Basset Hound.  My dad nicknamed Snoopy and her sister, Pascal, "the weasels"  because when we got them, that's what the looked like... These two are so ugly, they're cute. Snoopy is an awesome dog. She thinks she can talk, and when ever you say the word "Narf" to her, she'll talk to you. She also sings and is really intelligent. I often think she's trying to come up with a way to take over the world. She got her name because she used to sit on top of her doghouse, just like her namesake.

This is Pascal. She is Snoopy's little sister. Pascal is a sweetheart, but there's not too much going on upstairs with her. My dad often says this about her: "The wheel is turning, but the hamster died." Passie is a good dog if you like cuddly animals. She's got a temper on her, though. Don't ever make this dog mad!

This is my mother's baby. Her name is Angel. She was the first animal my family adopted. Someone tried to kill her, and didn't do a very good job about it. Even so, she turned into one of the sweetest dogs I've ever known. Most people say she looks mean, but she's really not. She's just a really fat, content dog. She knows how to "give five" and smile on command.

Last and certainly not least is Mungbean, my namesake. She's a purebred Siamese that someone moved off and forgot. She went wild for a few years, then finally showed up at my house, hurt and starving. My father and i took pity on her, started feeding her, and she became the new member of the family. She's not too social, but she's pretty. I think she's a spoiled, fat brat. My mom just claims she's healthy. (See, Beanie only weighed 3 pounds when we got her. Now, she's up to a healthy 12 lbs. I guess you can decide for yourself which she is!) My dad is the one who came up with the name "Mungbean" for her. I had already named her "Seal", because she's a seal-point Siamese. That got changed, though. Now days, we just call her "Beanie". I'm surprised she knows who she is, after all that name changing!
