Relationship status: I got married!!!!!! I"ll bet you can guess to who, too.  The wedding was February 12, 1999. It's not too concieted to think I'm the luckiest girl in the world, is it? :)

What I Wanted To Be One Day: A Virologist (A doctor who studies viruses) At this point, considering the family factor, I doubt I'm ever going to get to work with Ebola. Oh well... I'd rather have a great husband and a baby any day.... :)

What I'm Going to Get to Be One Day: A mother (Ok, this is for everyone who didn't know. I'm pregnant. The due date for the baby is August 23rd. (And for the record, it's a boy... His name is going to be Christopher James.) I'm planning on putting up a link on the main page to the photo of the baby... :)

I live in: Wake Village, TX, 75501.
(If you want my address/phone number, let me know, I'll get it to you...)

A few of my favorite things:
-- The T.V. show, "South Park" (Cartman's my favorite...)
-- "Titanic" (And, no, it's not just because Leonardo DiCaprio is in it!)
-- Spending time with my husband.
-- Being on the internet in general. (What can I say, I love it!)
-- Hanging out with my "real life" friends.
-- Essentially, being your typical 19 year old girl.
-- The Ebola Virus

My favorite bands are, in no particular order: No Doubt, Madonna, Bush, Garth Brooks, Alanis Morissette, Celine Dion, Aerosmith.

My favorite song:  Right now, it's a tie between "I don't wanna miss a thing", by Aerosmith, and "My heart will go on", by Celine Dion.

This is me and my best friend, Melissa Atchison. (She's like me, she doesn't use her real name either, unless forced. She goes by Missy) I can't say enough good things about her, she's just simply amazing! She and I are sort of what you could call total opposites, yet very similar beings. Where she's quiet, I'm a loudmouth, and where I'm shy, she's pretty brave about things. I know there's no one else in the world I can tell half the things I do to, and not worry about upsetting them, whatever! Missy and I have this bond that is really amazing. We don't even have to talk to know what the other is thinking. Of all the people in the world, I'm glad I get to claim her as my best friend!

Instead of a quote that best fits me, I'm going to sum up my whole outlook on life with one poem. It's called Desiderata. No one knows who wrote it. It was found on the wall of a church back in Puritan times. It's kind of amazing, someone back then knew how it probably would be in the future. Then again, people don't really change! And, Mrs. Booker, thank you so much for including this in our class... You'll never know how much I appreciate you giving me this! However, this is how I look at life, so here it is....

Go placidly amid the noise and haste,
And remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others,
Even the dull and ignorant, they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself to others,
You may become vain and bitter; for always
There will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your career, however humble,
It is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
Many persons strive for high ideals;
And everywhere life is ful of heroism.
Be yourself.
Especially, do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love, for it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years,
Gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars;
You have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
No doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore, be at peace with God, whatever you concieve him to be,
And whatever your labors and aspirations,
In the noisy confusion of life
Keep peace with your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
It is still a beautiful world.
Be careful.
Strive to be happy.
